Mycelium is a living network, silent, persistent, and deeply entangled with life. It inhabits decomposition, connects roots, and sustains ecosystems from below. In collaboration with the human designers of the Design Intelligence Group, mycelium has, in recent years, co-created materials that are breathable, regenerative, and biodegradable. It is not a product, but a process; not a resource, but a form of relational intelligence. It has collaborated as a maker and as a matter. Mycelium brings the group rhythms of care, time, and co-existence. It invites a shift in design, from control to collaboration, from extraction to regeneration.
