Visiting Professor
Stanislav Roudavski founded Deep Design Lab and holds an Associate Professorship at the University of Melbourne. He works with scientists, engineers, creative practitioners, and Indigenous collaborators on issues that range from ethical concerns to technical challenges of more-than-human design. He leads major research projects, including the European Research Council Synergy grant (2026–33) and the Australian Research Council Discovery grant (2017–21). He directs innovation with infrastructure builders, governments, and conservation organisations; publishes in multiple disciplines; and exhibits internationally, receiving numerous awards. He earned his doctorate from the University of Cambridge, taught at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and practised architecture in several European countries. In 2026, he holds a Visiting Professorship at Politecnico di Milano.
