ABOUT

Anna Meroni is Vice Dean of the School of Design at Politecnico di Milano and co-founder of the Polimi DESIS Lab and the international DESIS Network (Design for Social Innovation and Sustainability). Her research focuses on strategic and service design for sustainability, supporting social innovation, participation, and local development. She developed the concept of community-centred design and works across areas such as new entrepreneurship, place-making, public services, urban commons, and responsible research and innovation. She leads national and international research projects, chairs conferences, publishes extensively, serves on scientific committees, and lectures internationally.
