ABOUT

Eliška Janečková is an artist, designer and researcher in the field of speculative design, focusing on systems thinking, graduated from Design Academy Eindhoven. In her work, which ranges from material-oriented design to conceptual research, she explores ways of perceiving and interacting with the world's systems. In her practice, which is deeply rooted in epistemology, she integrates intuition and emotion into scientific approaches with the aim of broadening human understanding of what knowledge can be. Her work is fascinated by how technology can expand human sensory limits and facilitate co-becoming, using more-than-human design to explore the entangled relationships between human, non-human, and technological systems. Through multidisciplinary approaches, she pushes the boundaries between art and science, human and non-human, spirituality and technology. Experimentation, in her artistic and design practice, is understood as a way to comprehend the interconnectedness of all existence
