ABOUT

Erika Caffo is a communication and interaction designer. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication Design and is currently completing her MSc in Digital and Interaction Design at Politecnico di Milano, where she also works as an intern within the Design Intelligences department. With a background in scientific studies, her approach combines analytical thinking with creative experimentation. Her academic work explores speculative and more-than-human design, creative prototyping, computer animation, and media design. Her current thesis investigates how speculative design can reveal and reframe the slow violence of AI infrastructures, focusing on cloud environmental impact and multispecies feminist care.
