Marzia Mortati is an Associate Professor at Politecnico di Milano, where she teaches Service Design and Innovation, focusing on their intersection with Artificial Intelligence and data in the public sector. She is Deputy Director of the international AI4Gov Master’s program and Executive Board Member of the European Academy of Design. A co-founder of PoGoSig within the Design Research Society, she has led and contributed to several EU projects on design and policy. With an international academic background and extensive publication record, her research explores the intersection of design, governance, and emerging technologies, promoting critical and systemic approaches to public innovation.
