Multidisciplinary artist and designer from China, Yuxi Liu explores emerging technologies through critical, philosophical, and poetic perspectives. With an MFA in Design Informatics from the University of Edinburgh, yuxi Liu has worked at ART+COM Studios and BMW Designworks. Their research investigates human–nonhuman entanglements, more-than-human design, and pluralist ways of knowing. Through designing for, with, and by machine intelligence, Yuxi Liu experiments with data and algorithms to question normative assumptions about human–machine relations and engage with AI’s ethical and societal implications.
